BoardSource is a not-for-profit organization aimed at increasing the effectiveness of nonprofit organizations by strengthening boards of directors through its consulting practice, publications, tools, and membership program.

The Council on Foundations is a membership organization providing a wide variety of services primarily for endowed, grantmaking organizations throughout the United States and in foreign countries. The purposes of the Council are exclusively charitable and educational and are aimed at promoting, encouraging and enhancing the public good through private giving. SICF is a member of the Council on Foundations.
