2013 Scholarship applications are now available:

Arland D Williams Jr Scholarship Fund:
Nomination forms are now available for the 2013 award.  Scholarship nominees must be a senior or graduate student in good standing at the college level at the time of the award and be majoring in the field of finance, banking, accounting, economics or computer sciences.  The nominee must be a graduate of Mattoon Senior High School and exhibit high qualities of character to be worthy of the award.  Click below for a copy of the nomination form.

Michael Alan Fuller II Memorial Scholarship Fund:
Applicants must submit an application form, three letters of reference, three character references and an essay describing their own character.  A picture of the applicant should be submitted as well.

Applications are due by April 5, 2013 and the scholarships will be awarded at the Mattoon High School awards night.  Scholarship recipients should also plan to attend the BigAl Golf Classic, which will be held on August 3, 2013.  Click below to download a copy of the application or contact the Mattoon High School Guidance Councilor.

Lebovitz Lively Arts Scholarship Fund:
Scholarships in the amount of $500 to $2,000 each will be awarded to graduates of Mattoon High School who major or will major in the visual or performing arts for the 2013-2014 school year. The recipient of the scholarship shall be determined by a committee appointed by the Mattoon Arts Council. Applications are available at the Mattoon High School Guidance Counselor Office, Mattoon Arts Council or by visiting http://www.enrichingourcommunity.org under “Mattoon Area” and “Scholarships”.  Completed applications are due on or before 4pm on or before Thursday, March 28, 2013.

Mattoon High School Alumni Scholarship Fund:
Four scholarships are available to full time students who plan to attend a 2 year, 4 year college or university or vocational/technical school.  Applicants are asked to exhibit; financial need, extra curricular and work experience and ACT or SAT scores in conjunction with grade point average.  Applications are available at the Mattoon High School Guidance Counselor Office or by clicking the link below.
